First entry. I always think its good starting a fresh journal. At least I have somewhere private to keep my thoughts instead of bottling them up and just letting them out when Horatio's annoying me in the lab. Hmm... I wonder who he confides in?

Ah well, another day another dollar. Justice was served today on a guy that strangled a husband and wife couple last week. I managed to match up the knife marks on the rope he used to the rope Speed found in his truck. It was hit and miss for a while back there, I could have sworn Horatio was going to go for him during the interview when he knew we couldn't prove anything. Luckily we managed to catch the guy as he was going out the door and get him locked up where he belongs. H went all quiet and moody after the guy was safely behind bars. I wonder what his deal is, he seems to be doing it a lot lately. And I know that Grissom guy from Las Vegas called so maybe that has something to do with it? I guess I'll ask him when I work up the courage. I'd hate to get on the wrong side of H.

I suppose I should get on with looking at these reports he gave me... I'd rather stay on his good side...
